Alan Franco is a Brazilian football coach and former player who has worked for several clubs in Brazil, including Flamengo. He was appointed as the head coach of Flamengo in July 2019 after spending three seasons with São Paulo.

Franco began his career at Santos in 2005, where he played alongside fellow Brazilian players such as Ronaldo and Luiz Felipe Scolari. He made his debut for Santos in 2008 and went on to play for the club for two more seasons before moving to Real Madrid in 2011.

In 2014, Franco moved to Barcelona and spent four years there before returning to Brazil in 2017. He then joined Atlético Mineiro in 2018 but left the club in 2020 due to personal reasons.
