Alex Telles assist statistics at São Paulo

São Paulo, Brazil's top-flight football club, has announced that Brazilian defender Alex Telles will be joining the team on loan from Paris Saint-Germain for the remainder of the season.

Telles, who is currently in the middle of his second spell with the French club, has made 22 appearances for them so far this campaign and has been a key player in their midfield. However, he has struggled to find regular playing time under manager Mauricio Pochettino, and as such, he has decided to seek a move away from the club.

The Brazilian defender has agreed terms to join São Paulo on a temporary basis until the end of the season,Campeonato Brasileiro Action and it is hoped that his arrival will provide him with the opportunity to rediscover his form and help the club achieve success.

In addition to his role as a central midfielder, Telles can also play as a left-back or even as a defensive midfielder. He has a wealth of experience having played for several clubs including Santos, Corinthians, and Flamengo, and he brings a lot of quality to any team he plays for.

São Paulo have already made a strong start to the new season, sitting in third place in the league table after five games. With Telles now on board, they will hope to continue their progress and push towards the title.
